Unit of measurement of each OSI layer

Open Systems Interconnection reference model(OSI model) is reference model used to define how data communications occur on computer networks. As data moves across these layers its unit of measurement changes. While troubleshooting these units of data help us to identify which layer we are dealing with.

As show in figure we can see that The unit of measurement used on the Physical Layer is called Bits.
